security access to cdrom/cdrw

 Solved my own problem.
In controlpannel/settings/administrative
tools/localsecuritysettings/securityoptions/ there is a
setting that can easily be misconstrued called
Devices:Restrict CD-ROM access to locally loged on
useronly which is set to disabled. It looks like it means
it restrictes access when disabled but it really means the
opposite, when enabled it does not restrict! enable that
and the generic user program has access to the drives!
Fixed my problem!
