Sending data to an HTTPS address

Hi everyone,
I want to be able to send a web request to an SSL webserver through my
VB.NET app. eg. https://url.com/page.php?blablabla
but I am having problems finding information on how to do it.
Has anyone done anthing like this or know where i can get some Code
Examples?
I can't find anything on MSDN.
