Re: ApplicationName: Create programmatically

why do you have to create an application - aren't application created implicitly the first time a providers "uses" it..?!

Hi

I have a situation where I have to create an entry in the membership
database (std. .NET 2.0 asp.net DB). This entry is a new Application
in the aspnet_Applications table, but as I do not want to do that
directly into the table, what api-object is actually presenting this
ability?

I have not been able to find an ApplicationObject or the like in the
System.Web.Security namespace. What object is used for this scenario?

.
