I have an ASP.net 2.0 application using forms auth on windows 2003.
This is all working fine.
I am trying to deploy the same application to a windows 2000 server.
The server has had the framework 2.0 on for a while and there is
another ASP.net 2.0 site (using forms auth) working correctly on the
same server. When I try and log in by entering a correct username and
password, I get redirected to the login page again. I have put debug
info in the login page and I can see it is authenticating successfully
with the details provided - but I get redirected straight back to the
login page. IIS setting are the same, web.config is the same on both
servers. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?
