In AzMan Authorization Policy is loaded into the memory of the app using the
authorization policy to make access validation decisions. If the policy store
is remote then, for the AD store, by default AzMan will encrypt the ldap
calls between it and AD. If it's a remote xml store AzMan best practices are
to use IPSec to secure the traffic between the azman consumer machine and a
remote xml store machine.
