IPSec policy between webserver and SQL cluster server

I am trying to configure an IPSec policy to establish a secure communication channel between my Webserver my clustered SQL server 2000. Both SQL server and webserver are windows 2000 systems. Is IPSec supported in this scenario. If supported, is there a link where I can get some documentation on how to configure it. If anyone knows the answer please let me know.
