Ok. Thank you Joe. I will try this solution, but I am still unclear about using Win32 API in VB.NET. I would still like to know how to use Buffers vs IntPointers, Allocate and deallocate unmanged memory, etc... and still believe that converting the code would be a great exersize for anyone who is a long time vb programmer and wants to learn more about true Object Oriented Programming in VB.NET and inherently C. The challenge still stands.
