XP Challange response does not retain password
Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2004 11:45:09 -0800
Running IIS6 with Integrated only. When IE client is prompted for credentials, (XP uses 2 field prompt instead of W2k 3 field prompt) DOMAIN\USERNAME and password must be entered.
However, XP will not retain the password even if the box is checked. It does not matter if the domain is the default domain for the client or not.
Just an annoyance. Any Ideas?
