Hi Abhinav,

Please refer to
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320112 to reinstall
net framework.

For framework 1.1, please refer to http://support.microsoft.com/?id=824643#5

Another thing you can try is to remap asp.net in IIS.
 http://support.microsoft.com/?id=306005

Also, if the problem still happens, please install FileMon and RegMon from
www.sysinternals.com and monitor your system to isolate the problem. Thet
may be quite helpful under this scenario.
