Dax, we had a very similar problem and, with the help of your post,
were able to fix it by adding Everyone to the bin folder's
permissions.
Were you able to ever pin down a specific user account (or group) to
which the execute permission apples in this case (so that we don't
have to enable Everyone)? Thanks.
