We are creating an intranet suite of web apps on asp.net and are running
into problems with our c# code not being able to write to our disk drives or
perform any IO functions. We initially could write to the disk but then
moved the intranet machine into the DMZ. All users and networking goes
through a novell netware network. Our employees log into their computers
each day using the novell client. Should our .NET machine.config file
impersonate a novell user? We tried that but it didn't recognize the
username. We are not sure whether .NET requires local windows computer
users (if so, then how to access network drives requiring novell
authentication?). Thanks so much this is somewhat of a confusing problem i
apologize if i confused anyone.
Sincerely,
Christopher Beltran
