If I set up Windows Authentication for an Intranet
application, is it possible to authenticate the user
based on their current network connection?
In other words, if I log into my LAN with DANNYL,
then go to the company Intranet, can my ASP .Net
read my DANNYL login and auto-authenticate me?
Ok, if that can happen, then is there a way to get
my common name, Danny J. Lesandrini, from the
network login of DANNYL?
I've got the Wrox book, and I'm looking it over,
but I'd like to hear how this has been working for
those who've implemented it.
Thanks
