Hi!
I am trying to develop a service that fetches web pages using https.
I would like to use httpWebRequest class, but httpWebRequest can't talk to smart cards in order to authenticate the user. Here is my problem:
a.. my customer requires that the service authenticates itself using a key stored on a smart card
b.. the smart card periodically needs to get the PIN-code
c.. the application should (preferably) run as a service
I believe that the above is difficult to achieve, even using the dotnet framework and C#. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Cheers /Jan Garefelt
PS: I don't know if this is relevant, but here goes anyway:
a.. the card reader is a GemPC410
b.. the crypto provider is an ID2 Cryptographic Service Provider, version 2.1
