It sounds like you are executing the aspx page because that doesn't sound
like an access denied message. Therefore you probably don't have issues with
iis or windows permissions.
Can you view an html page in that virtual directory? (Yes? I thought so
:-)
Can you execute a "hello world" web page in that virtual directory?
(Probably, Yes?)
What is the exact error message and details. What line of code is executing
when it says you don't have sufficient priviledges?
