Good .Net Examples?

Does anyone know of any 'good' examples for .Net? I have
tried the basic examples on MSDN, another in WROX .NET
Framework, and a third in WROX Professional C#. None seem
to work! Any good simple Hello World Remoting Example
is 'greatly' appreciated.

I've been trying them in VS Studio.
