What? Facebook is public. What do you care if someone sees a page that
billions can look at? https is for stuff you send to another site. And
using https on facebook is idiotic, since what you put onto facebook can
again be seen by anyone.
NOte that most places do NOT use encryption (for precisely the above
reason) and will not accept an https attempt.
