rsh via ssh?

Hey all,

My Compaq Visual Fortran app on windows sends commands to a remote
unix server to build projects via rsh and I need to do it via ssh as
that's all I want to open up in my firewall.

Is there a way to tunnel these rsh commands or send them over ssh, or
... anyway?

Any help or ideas much appreciated.
