Using htaccess and htpasswd to restrict parts of my web site with a logon is
largely successful, and the "authuser" field in the web logs generally
allows me to see which users have accessed the restricted parts of the site.
Recently, however, an authorised user managed to access the site without the
"authuser" field being set; it contained "-".
Under what circumstances does this happen? Is it a bug?
