When the other machine was Solaris, too, you could snoop the network for
ARP/RARP messages. Don't know what can be used on a PC, but I'd look for a
util doing the same as snoop, then power the Sun on and wait for ARP/RARP
messages.....
But why not connect a null-modem cable to SerialA port (9600 baud).....??
