On my solaris system I have some users who access the system in order to
run an application using menus. They need some environment variables
which are set in each .profile file, this variables are according to
each user profile, all of them are different in order to access
different menus. When they log in, the .profile is read and the menu
appear directly but They don't need to type any command in the CLI. I
cannot use /usr/lib/rsh 'cause they need to run some other things
outside their homes.
I have set a trap in .profile in order to avoid that they can escape to
a shell,
I've restricted access using a ssh connection and limiting access by IP,
I've included those home directories in the tripwire policy file to
check for modifications, additions, etc,
Is there any other idea to reenforce this issue???
Thanks in advance
Dave
