However, when push comes to shove, whoever is in charge of the machine
can do things like reading data off the disk at a low level (if
necessary by plugging it into another machine), so it's safest to
assume that anything you put on somene else's machine can be read by
them.
If you have secrets, keep them in your head, or at most write them on
paper and lock the paper up in a safe.
