Subject: Questions of installing ipf onto solaris 7
Now, I have a big trouble. When I use the steps as
modload /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9/ip
/usr/sbin/sparcv9/ipf -IFa -f ${IPFILCONF}
/usr/sbin/sparcv9/ipmon -s &
and
cp /usr/sbin/sparcv9/ipfstat /usr/sbin
and restarted the machine. I have the adb, gcore, ipcs, kgmon, plimit, prex,
ps, savecore, setuname, tnfxtract, truss, uptime, w all changed. If I type
any of the command, I got the following response:
dropped packets: 0
non-data packets: 0
etc.
There is certainly something seriously wrong. Please help.
H.
