Dear all,
My OS version is Solaris 2.6 5/98 , Sun4u machine. I have 3 network
interfaces but only 2 is enable in the system and the reminding one is not
plugged from the network.
I followed the instructions to install IP filter
#gzip -d ip-fil3.4.31.tar.gz
#tar -xvf ip-fil3.4.31.tar
#cd ip-fil3.4.31
#make solaris
#cd SUNOS5
#make package
#pkgadd -d ipf.pkg
It seems installed successfully. But, after I reboot the
computer(#sync;sync;reboot;).
The machine stop in the following prompt and hang.
"configuring the /devices directory"
I've tried to boot in single user mode(ok>boot -s), but I get the same
result:
The machine stop in the following prompt and hang.
"configuring the /devices directory"
I'd be grateful for any advices or helps.
Best Regards,
Paul Yip
