    PKC 2003 will be held in Miami, Florida this year on January 6th through
    8th.

    The International Workshop on Practice and Theory in Public Key
    Cryptography is the major international workshop on public key
    cryptography. Papers have been accepted in many areas including Elliptic
    Curves (6 papers), Cryptanalysis (5 papers), Broadcast and Tracing,
    Digital Signatures, and New Public Key Schemes for a total of 26 papers.
    These were accepted from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany,
    Japan, The Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and the United
    States.
    The workshop is held once a year and is organized in co-operation with the
    International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR). The IACR
    conferences and workshops draw people from Industry, Universities, Banks
    and Governments, all working in security-related areas. This is the sixth
    annual conference having been held previously in Paris, Korea, Australia,
    and Japan. This year the three-day conference will be hosted by the USA
    in Miami, Florida at the Hyatt Regency bayside in downtown Miami.

    EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 11th

    The November 30th deadline for early PKC 2003 registration has been
