.dump files..?

im trying to look at the data sniffed from the defcon capture the flag
game at http://www.shmoo.com/cctf/ .. the files are .dump files and
aren't plain ascii.. does anyone know how to view the files? (yes i
gunzipped them :) i guess i need the same sniffer to read it as used
to capture it right? anyone know what sniffer that is?
