Hi everyone:

I have a question that you might have read a few times, but I was hoping
that I might get some differing points of view. I am currently in the
computer industry working for a company deals with databases. However, I
want to move on as
quickly as possible. Based on the huge lack of jobs and the saturation of
candidates I
don't relish the prospect of competing tooth and nail for just an interview.
That being said, I'd like to wait out this starvation of jobs in school. So
the question is ...what school?. I already did programming, and now I know
several 10 year Java verterans that have been looking for almost a year.
What other types of computer industries should I be looking at for for
a)longevity and b) job satisfaction? I'd really like something that I
could come out of in 10 or 12 months and get a job in quickly.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks for your help.
