Hi,

I've read that shiva uses 3DES to cypher the password in its config
file.

I would like to have a prog (or a library, a perl module) in order to
reproduce the same algorithm in order to write a brute-force attack
like john the ripper does with simple DES or md5 for exemple.

If a patch for john exists, it should be great for me.

Regards
