Vista patch breaks forwarding of port 445?

I've been using Cygwin to forward port 445 (SMB) over SSH and it was working great until I installed Vista patch KB942624. Now I get the following error message:

ssh -L 10.0.0.222:445:localhost:445 user@remoteip
bind: Operation not permitted
channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 445
Could not request local forwarding.

Uninstalling the patch gets me back to a working condition. Not cool.
