hi, i can't connect to my new rootserver by ssh.
the server IP is 217.147.208.65 and i tried to login with "user" an
password "barfoo". but it doesn't work :( the ftp-server is running.
http too.
can you help me?

Ssorry but this is idiotic. If perchance we can then you have just let
every single crook in the world into your machine, to install backdoors,
etc.
Ie you should not wipe the disk and reinstall. Otherwise I can almost
guarentee that your server has been taken over already.

Anyway, you must ensure that sshd is running on the root server, that user
is an acrual username on that system, and that his password is barfoo and
that pam is running for sshd. Look at your logs on the server to see what
they say.

Then when you havefigured it out, wipe the disks and reinstall.
