DNS+PRIVACY

Hi,

I use a privacy tunnel. Also I subscribed to Metropipe Tunneler PRO (VPN
connection)

Do I need to install a local DNS server (program like
http://www.simpledns.com ) to be completely secure and anonymous ?
I heard that if you use your NET PROVIDER DNS you arent completely secure.

Any reply will be greatly appreciated
