With past worms and such, folks have quit returning pings so that's
not necessarily a bad thing.
nslookup only tells us that the DNS record and DNS resolution is
working on your box, and that's a good sign.

If you're using zonealarm, check the logs. If you see denied outbound
connections headed to port 22 of the remote server, then you know
what's blocking thins. If one account works while the other does
not, it could be that Zonealarm has a notion of per-user firewall
configuration.
Given that you can tracert to the box, I strongly suspect ZoneAlarm as
one of the only things that could be causing your issue, because it is
the only thing on your system that could restrict a given application
from getting to the internet for a specific user.
