Interesting. Makes me wonder what uninstalling and reinstalling putty
might do since the behavior appears to be per-user oriented?
But then again, you weren't able to ping or traceroute to the server
as the user.
Is that still the case? I'm trying to think what in windows could
hork up networking on a per-user basis.
