Hi Todd
xpbox #1 = main connection
The main connection is the (XP-box #1) which I use to connect to the
Internet, the other (XP-box #2) and (Linux-box #3) has to forward their
packet through XP-box #1.
thats why I was unsuccessful when trying to ssh to the University
Server from the linux box.It doesnt make any sense though? I can ssh
locally, but when trying outside connecton (XP-box #1) block it.
As you have said, the problem is routing to the outside world. Which
beg the question, what part of xp-setting do I need to alter, to be
able to ssh outside my network.
I have shutdown the Zonealarm firewall to make sure its no interfering,
but still i keep getting the same error.I have also disabled Windows
firewall, still nothing has changed
I use hub to connect these three boxes,
P.S Can sp2 disable routing outside my networking?
Regards
Adil
