Thanks for the suggestion.
I was able to open the connections like you suggested. I opened the
first putty connection to gateway with the forwarding like you
suggested.
I opened the second putty connection to localhost and succesfully
logged in to the remoteX11 machine. But when i check on the Putty ->
Event Log, i see the following
2005-10-19 19:03:25 Requesting X11 forwarding
2005-10-19 19:03:25 X11 forwarding refused
Do you know, what may cause this?
I cannot change any ssh,sshd settings on the gateway machine, but i am
root on the remoteX11host, so i could change the settings there. Do you
have any suggestions, why i get the X11 forwarding refused message?
