well, I AM the site admin - I maintain all these hosts on a reseller acct -
so I am able to log in to the control panels for each site and do various
admin things - as well as log into the main reseller control panel.
the reseller I use is buywebhost.com ... and yes, they say that >I< am
supposed to log in to putty with each site name and password of each domain
and then do the following:
You need to use SSH2 client such as putty.
You can download it from http://buywebhost.net/putty.exe
See the attachment.
You must login using site administrator username .
In this case, it should be pam@mesharet.com
Once you login, type the following command
cd /var/spool/mail
ls -l
ln -s username username@domainname
eg :-
ln -s pam pam@mesharet.com
I have done the setting for mesharet.com
---------------
They EASILY did it for 2 of my accts but say I have to do it for the rest of
them. I am so frustrated,, and KNOW that they are supposed to take care of
this problem on their end...AND I have had it and will be looking for
another reseller acct that is based in US ..they are in Malaysia (just found
that out!) and they have been pretty arrogant in the past when something
goes down or doesn't work - and while I admit that I'm no techie...I'm not
stupid either. Something ain't smellen right here. I'm thinking that the
remote server does not allow ME to log into their acct...or something... if
anyone has any ideas, I'd sure appreciate it.
