    I'm pretty sure that is not the case. I don't use DHCP, and with only 3
    or 4 machines up, I am pretty sure about their IP addresses.

    I also tried sshing to the local host - that works fine, and does not
    lock up. So it seems only to remote hosts.

    I'll take a look, but I am pretty sure that is not the issue.
