If the Protocol button in the configuration dialogue box was set to
SSH, your connection is encrypted.
If you want to reassure yourself, you can check this by selecting
`Event Log' from the system menu (accessed from the icon in the top
left of the window). Towards the top of the messages in there it
should say something like "Using SSH protocol version 2".
