Then PSCP is not 0.57, but some development snapshot, as that check does
not exist in any release. Do you also have problems with PSCP 0.57?
There were some snapshots in Feb/Mar which had buggy behaviour around
some of the host key prompts. However, I can tell from the precise form
of the above message that you must be using a snapshot >=2005-03-11,
which I don't believe to be affected by these bugs.
Note that the "SSH-2 rekey bug" message should have nothing to do with
the initial host key check -- see the documentation Simon references.
