SMTP over SSH Tunnel error using putty: Corrupted MAC on Input

Hi.

  I have made a SSH Tunnel oves a HTTP Tunnel (Hopster) to send mail
using SMTP.

  Everything works just fine with POP, even with a large number or
large size of messages. But I can't send large email, just small
messages without attachments.
  When I try to send large messages, using Outlook or Eudora, over
Putty 0.57 (the latest version) I get this message and the connection
crashes:
  ---------------------------------------
  Server sent disconnect message
  type 2 (SSH_DISCONNECT_PROTOCOL_ERROR):
  "Corrupted MAC on input."
  ---------------------------------------

Any clues?
