Scp give me error 'unknown user 3004'

Dear All,

I just setup a Openssh 3.9.p1 chroot server. user are chrooted when
they use ssh or sftp.
However if i try to use scp command to copy file i get the following
error:

scp toto user@bckserver:/export/home/sysakzi/
user@bckserver's password:
unknown user 3004
lost connection

Any idea ??
