I'm using Putty 0.56 with Solaris 8 and having no problems with RSA/DSA
authentication. You mentioned ssh-keygen. If you ran that on windows you
must have generated your keys with something other than putty (cygwin
perhaps?). You can convert them to putty's .ppk format, or generate new
keys with puttygen. Let us know how you made out.
