Take a look at Section 4.1.2: Loading and storing saved sessions in
TFM.
Changes in the default settings affect any sessions you create from
that point on, but it will not update existing sessions.
As it says in TFM, "Each saved session is independent of the Default
Settings configuration. If you change your preferences and update
Default Settings, you must also update every saved session
separately."
