Eh.... I just didn't fully explain what I was doing. The nightly backups
are done using rsync. The backups of a quickly changing mail system (large
mbox files that are constantly being appended to) are done using
rdiff-backup. What I'm doing is somewhat inconsequential because the basic
issue of SCP vs. RCP still exists either way.
