Hi,
Has anybody tried to verify the putty binary distribution signatures
(e.g. http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.zip.RSA
or http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.zip.DSA )
with GnuPG ? On FreeBSD gnupg-1.2.4_1 gives an error:
$ gpg --verify putty.zip.RSA
gpg: no signed data
gpg: can't hash datafile: file open error
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong ?
Could someone try and reproduce this ?
The old pgp-5.0i_1 seems to work though.
Thanks a lot for any input.
