I can't connect to any external SSH host by Telnet proxy but I can connect
to any external Telnet host by Telnet proxy.
I don't know where is problem because I can connect to any SSH or Telnet
host in my internal company network (without Telnet proxy).
I tried to use plink with "-v" for more verbose connecting information
(connect to external SSH host behind Telnet proxy):
:C:\>plink -load pokus4 -v -l ahoj
:Server version: SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.4p1 Debian 1:3.4p1-1.woody.3
:We claim version: SSH-1.5-PuTTY-Release-0.54
:Using SSH protocol version 1
:Received public keys
:Host key fingerprint is:
: 1024 e4:61:9e:4f:fc:2f:c5:47:31:80:e8:8e:51:9a:9b:ed
:Encrypted session key
:AES not supported in SSH1, skipping
:Using Blowfish encryption
:Trying to enable encryption...
:Initialised Blowfish encryption
:Installing CRC compensation attack detector
:^CTerminate batch job (Y/N)? y
I had to break it because it was frozen.
And for comparing - when I tried to connect to SSH host on internal network:
:C:\>plink -load vitalis -v -l ahoj
:Server version: SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.8p1
:We claim version: SSH-1.5-PuTTY-Release-0.54
:Using SSH protocol version 1
:Received public keys
:Host key fingerprint is:
: 1024 a2:7d:41:c1:2d:d8:97:67:4d:05:7d:c7:8a:3e:f7:06
:Encrypted session key
:AES not supported in SSH1, skipping
:Using Blowfish encryption
:Trying to enable encryption...
:Initialised Blowfish encryption
:Installing CRC compensation attack detector
:Successfully started encryption
:Sent username "ahoj"
:ahoj@vitalis.siemens-pse.sk's password:
Everything is correct on internal network.
What do I need to set-up in PuTTY configuration for correct connecting to
external SSH hosts by Telnet proxy?
Please help.
Lolo
