I appreciate the suggestions, but unfortunately they are to no avail.
I upgraded my router to the latest version released literally hours
ago; I'm now running version 2.16RC5 for my Netgear WGR614v3 wireless
G router. It seemed for a minute that the problem might have been
solved, but after a minute it was quite clear that it hadn't been
solved. I should also mention that this is occurring on multiple
servers, and that I'm using SSH in PuTTY (if that wasn't clear).
I was reading up briefly on Port Forwarding/Port Triggering, and
wonder if these settings in my router could have anything to do with
making PuTTY/SSH work. Like I said, I'm not an expert on this sort of
thing, so I'd need some helpful pointers on how to set it up. Again,
any advice would be appreciated. I'll try to dig up any more
information that I can think of.
Thanks again,
Keith
