Richard's well written notes there also document how hard it is to do this
reliably.
Just Don't(tm). Strongly consider using WebDAV over HTTPS, which provides
tightly constrained user permission and write access to restricted
directories directly through your Apache or other web server.
SFTP is useful for some things, but not very useful for preventing client
access to other directories or shells.
