    May I explain a little more. The ssh server and remote desktop server are
    both running on the same machine. What would I do if I only wanted to open
    port 22 on the remote machine but still connect to the remote desktop server
    listening on port 3389. currently port 3389 has to be open with the obvious
    security implications.

    This is on xp pro with OpenSSH via cygwin.
