I have a PC behind a firewall running OpenSSH. I can connect and logon using
a logonname/password with putty from this machine and any other PC from the
internal network.
To connect to OpenSSH remotely I have set the firewall to forwarded any
connections on port 22 for our single NAT'd external ip address to the
internal PC running OpenSSH.
When I try and logon using my usual username it will not accept my password.
I suspect this has something to do with the fact I am accessing this using
the external IP.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Neale
