Your terminology is confusing; what do you mean by "ssh v1" and "ssh v2"?
Protocol versions? Different implementations? Some of what you wrote
suggests you were using OpenSSH and now are using ssh.com, but it's not
clear. Say exactly what software and OS you're using, on both sides.
